Konferencja Katedr Finansów 2024

Organizowana od lat 70. XX wieku Konferencja Katedr Finansów stała się z czasem najważniejszym w Polsce miejscem spotkań, prezentacji referatów i wymiany poglądów naukowców prowadzących badania w obszarze finansów.

W 2024 r. organizatorami konferencji są: Katedra Bankowości i Rynków Finansowych, Katedra Finansów Przedsiębiorstw i Ubezpieczeń Gospodarczych oraz Katedra Finansów Publicznych Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego w Katowicach. Celem konferencji jest stworzenie możliwości wymiany poglądów, dyskusji oraz prezentacji wyników badań dotyczących trendów, wyzwań i dylematów stojących przed współczesnymi finansami.

Konferencja Katedr Finansów ma w 2024 r. szczególny charakter, ponieważ wpisuje się w obchody Europejskiego Miasta Nauki, który to tytuł przyznano miastu Katowice. Więcej na ten temat w zakładce EMN Katowice 2024.

Hasło tegorocznej konferencji brzmi: „Współczesne finanse – trendy, wyzwania, dylematy”.

Nowe trendy technologiczne, organizacyjne, geopolityczne, społeczne, a także nowe trendy w przepływie kapitału nie pozostają bez wpływu na sferę finansową gospodarki światowej oraz gospodarek poszczególnych regionów i krajów. Ich wyłanianie się i rozwój rodzą liczne wyzwania, które dotyczą finansów w sposób bezpośredni lub pośredni. Przykładowe trendy i wyzwania wpływające współcześnie na sferę finansów to m.in. digitalizacja i ekspansja firm technologicznych do sektora finansowego, platformizacja usług finansowych, „zielone” finanse/finansowanie zrównoważonego rozwoju oraz transformacji energetycznej, równoważenie finansów publicznych, wpływ COVID i wojny w Ukrainie na finanse przedsiębiorstw i gospodarstw domowych, wykluczenie cyfrowe i finansowe.

Identyfikacja i pogłębiona analiza najważniejszych trendów i wyzwań jest niewątpliwie trudnym zadaniem, wymagającym prowadzenia badań naukowych, które mogą – i powinny – pomóc w rozstrzygnięciu związanych z nimi dylematów oraz stać się wsparciem przy rozwiązywaniu problemów i podejmowaniu decyzji dotyczących sfery finansów.

Konferencja odbędzie się w dniach 16-17 września 2024 r. w Katowicach (dokładna lokalizacja Konferencji będzie podana w terminie późniejszym).

ESG Sustainable Transformation of the Economy, Local Governments and Financial Markets - Trends, Challenges and Best Practices.

The Institute of Corporate Finance and Investment in the Collegium of Business Administration at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics would like to invite you to participate in the conference entitled "ESG Sustainable Transformation of the Economy, Local Governments and Financial Markets - Trends, Challenges and Best Practices." event will be held on 12-13 October 2023 in Warsaw.

The Conference is a response to the need for the integration of ESG objectives into the overall activity of business entities, in the financial and non-financial sectors, as well as public administration. Its aim is to bring together representatives of the academic and business community to discuss ESG issues in theory and practice and current challenges in this area.

The themes of the Conference include the following four thematic blocks:

• sustainable transformation of the economy
• sustainable transformation of local governments
• sustainable transformation of financial markets
• sustainable transformation of real estate markets

The Conference will provide an opportunity for the academic to present scientific achievements in the respective area and for economic sector representatives – to discuss the experience in managing ESG aspects. We are pleased to inform you that the publication of scientific articles in renowned journals will be possible after the Conference.

FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT – MAN, RESPONSIBILITY, ENVIRONMENT

The Department of Finance and Accounting at Wrocław University of Economics and the Department of Financial Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń would like to invite you to participate in the 9th National Scientific Conference “Finance and Accounting for Sustainable Development – Man, Responsibility, Environment”, to be held on 20-21 April 2022 online via MS Teams application.

The substantive scope of the Conference addresses the aspects related to sustainable development, referring, in particular, to a human being (actions/behavior), responsibility and various environments (e.g. natural, social, economic, financial, ethical). The organizers hope the conference will allow the presentation of research output and findings regarding the issues of sustainable development in the theory and practice of finance and accounting as well as contribute to the discussion covering their current problems and challenges.

The thematic scope of the Conference is in line with the substantive aspects of the Financial Sciences. Nauki o Finansach journal, which is one of the important publishing opportunities within the framework of the Conference. The Conference is primarily focused on the following problems: sustainable development in the theory of economics, finance and accounting; financial sector in sustainable development; public finance sector in maintaining sustainable development; tax system vs. social inequalities; corporate social responsibility; human behavior as a creator of sustainable development and social responsibility; socially responsible investing; sources of financing for environmental protection; accounting focused on sustainable development; the importance of non-financial reporting in developing corporate social responsibility; financial and social exclusion; impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on sustainable development.
